I have been drinking it for over 30 years and back then all they had was the gel.

I only drink Lilly products. I started for an ulcer. Now it's a part of my alternative health and medical box. I will drink 16 oz straight from the bottle with an on - off attitude to it. I believe it does have a lot of good benefits.

Anybody have any good results to mention. I am curious if anyone has tried it for crones. I use to always get bronchitis and I just don't get it anymore.

My mom has emphysema and I have urged her to drink it but she only does a minimal amount. It has an anti inflammatory effect and may reduce or remove scar tissue. Maybe even help with the lung elasticity.

Like to hear from you.

I'm interested in seeing the replies to this thread. I've read about the healing properties of drinking aloe vera but I've been too scared to try it.

I think most people do more harmful food and drinks I know I do. So I try to balance out with good things also.

The taste is not that bad has a little citrus, I think. I figure if 3000 years ago Cleopatra knew to drink it, I can't go wrong.

I also drink it if I get a sunburn along with the OTC topical green stuff on the outside.

The list of nutrients is pretty impressive.

I also drink braggs organic apple cider vinegar, now that's a tough one and I have to mix with water in a pint glass 1-15 mix. Once you get it down it leaves a very refreshing taste and feeling. But ACV will be my next thread.

I drank an aloe Vera gel drink from an Indian restaurant. I think it was a pomegranate drink.

There was a thickness to it, liek a gel consistancy.

I liked it, it tasted good, I would drink it again.

Since I only had it the one time, I have no idea what the benefits could have been.

I have not seen this anywhere around where I live. I got that in Philly.

Yep ... i do ... Lily of the Desert ... whole leaf.
Yum.
And it helps keep the bowels moving ... very good / lubricating for the intestines.
A half capsule of Cascara Sagrada mixed in a little bit of water (very bitter) and chased with about 4 gulps of aloe vera juice work wonders ... right before bed and on an empty stomach.

I love the taste of it, but it usually has gobs of sugar in it. Never seen any real change after drinking it.

Yeah, a soda with Aloe Vera in it (plus a lot of other junk) probably isn't so therapeutic.
