Question How much do you pay for health insurance?

Hi, I have friend that is 60 years old that pays 1,000 a month for health insurance. He has to work to pay his insurance. He works for TRW as a engineer but has told me if he is lad-off he will never find another job because of his age. He is also working for a contractor and can be lad-off anytime. What makes his health insurance so high is his wife has diabetes and is on oxygen 24 hours a day.

I pay 260.00 a month for my health insurance.

How much do you pay for health insurance?

John

I have BC&BS from Farm Bureau in Tennessee. I hate to say it but I have diabetes and history of blood clots to the lungs and have GERD.

For myself, wife and two children i pay $1100 or thereabouts. Its absolutely killing me having to pay this but my son does have a medical condition, and thank god Medicaid is covering the copay with my health insurance, else i couldnt do it.

I pay $201/month for me and my two children. I chose the PPO option, which isn't the cheapest but in my opinion, you get what you pay for! Kaiser HMO is only $50 or $60 a month, but all I hear of Kaiser are horror stories...
