50 year old male here. I've had some blood in my urine for the last 2 days. No pain except for some lower back pain which is not unusual for me. It happened both days after exercising. Sat it happened once right after exercising and Sunday it happened every time I went to the bathroom for about 5 hours then it went away. I am a Diabetic (Type 2) and have been eating pretty well and exercising regular for several weeks now. Any thoughts?

I would recommend going to see a doctor. I recently sprained my back and I had traces of blood in my urine as well. 3 days later, the blood was gone. I don't have kidney stones. If you are having some back pain, you may have pulled muscles or ligaments in your back as I did, which could also cause some blood in your urine. Now if it's more than a trace, then it may be kidney stones or kidney problems. Either way, you need to schedule an appointment with your physician ASAP to have it checked out.
1. Go to the doctor.
2. Go to the doctor.
3. Even if we tell you what caused it when we had it (mine was a bruised kidney from racquetball) go to the doctor.

I agree. They are the only one that can fully describe why you have blood in your urine. Hope all goes well!
Go ahead and get to the doctors office. They will probably do a "stone study' CT Scan. No contrast needed for that. Can't afford to mess around with the kidneys. Good luck!
You should go to a doctor. I would guess either a kidney infection or kidney stones.
