Maybe Pregnant?
So, I have been on birth control pills for 7 years and stopped them last month, I am 3 days late for my period, and have taken 2 home pregnancy tests, both negative...could I be pregnant? I feel basically normal except for some mild cramping, but no period. Please let me know what you think! Being pregnant would be a good thing!

I hope you are! But instead of driving yourself crazy just be sure to get enough folic acid and wait another week before you retest, by then it should show up if you are. If you aren't then since it's your first month off the pill your body may be ajusting back to your normal cycle which can be different from a pill cycle. Either way I'm sure if it isn't this month it will be soon enough! Good luck!

Your cycle doesn't always stay the same after you get off the pill. So, it may seem that you're three days late, but you're actually right on time.
A weird thing happened to me when I found out I was pregnant. I took a test, it was negative, threw it away. Next morning I go to throw something away and see that the test turned positive. I take another test that morning, and it's positive. Everyday your hcg level doubles. Take the test in the morning and wait until it's been a week late.
I agree with irishmom, take folic acid and prenatal vitamins for as long as you're trying.

I got pregnant the week I went off the pill.

WOW!! How exciting for you!! I hope the best for you!
I was hoping to get a positive preg. test for a mother's day present for my mom and the inlaws, but that hasn't happened yet. Haven't started yet.. but I don't have a (+) test to show either.
*sigh*

Aw, thank you Pixie!!!
I am hoping it will happen. Actually I am TRYING not to hope, because everyone tells me that if I stop thinking about it, it will happen. Which to me, sounds like a oxymoron, but ok.
I have been taking folic acid, well prenatal vitamins. They give me heartburn..
