Default Bell's Palsy

Has anyone had experience with Bell's Palsy? My son came down with this about a week ago. He's being treated with an antiviral prescription. How long until this condition improves?

One of my friends had this both times she was pregnant... I don't think that in her case it was viral. Hormonal, maybe? For her, it lasted several months. I hope your son's case clears up quickly!
