An inordinate number of medical problems stem from stress. I would seriously take a look at your wife's stress level and see if making some behavoral modification might be helpful. It sounds to me like she is experiencing some neurological implications most probably from tight muscles in her cervical spine area. Also, I would certainly check her blood pressure levels (preferably throughout the day) to see if that has any bearing on the nosebleed/headache thing.

I would certainly avoid medication if possible. My suggestion would be increasing her B vitamin intake, possibly incorporating some St. John's Wort herbal capsules, trying some meditation or other anti-stress related type of activity and see if that doesn't make a remarkable difference.

I agree about getting a physical and complete bloodwork. It is very hard like others said as so many conditions have similar symptoms. Some of the pins and needles reminds me of neuro condition. Has she had her blod sugar checked too? I would ask the general doc what specialist may be in order. I could think of a neuro but then some auto immune conditions can create those symptoms. Hope your wife gets answers and feels better
