Default Wrinkles around mouth

Ok, I know a few wrinkles are fine, but I have noticed much more over the past year. I would like some input from you ladies who have had work, used products or your own facial massage appliance.

I have thought about the collegen injections, or a miniface lift.

A friend of mine says monthly facials are the trick.

I wonder if certain medications can contribute. I have had much stress over the last couple of years. I do laugh a lot....Is anything really this funny

Where are the wrinkles? IN which direction? I know that women who smoke get these wrinkles around their mouths...

I have never smoked. They are vertical above my lips and to the sides of my mouth. I grew up in So Cal, so I know those days of lying on the beach have maybe caught up, but it seemed to have happened so fast.

Why not just grow old gracefully and accept the inevitable? Trying to eliminate the effects of aging is a loosing battle anyhow.

And besides, maybe one day you'll get to enjoy a special moment when one of your grankids asks in all innocence, "Mamaw... why are there cracks in your face?"

Don't get any long lasting fillers until you see if you like that look. But getting the dead layer of skin off and using a good moisture lotion can do wonders for your skin. (also using the right stuff to wash with)

What do you use now for face care?

I always thought I wouldn't mind and I would inherit my mother's nice skin, but I do and I didn't.

So far my granddaughter's have not commented on my "cracks". But I do have to keep coloring my hair because I told them until I have gray hair I am not old.

I have tried everything from expensive to good old Ponds. I do exfoliate and moisturize. I know there is no miracle.....just wanted to hear of any "great" product or procedure short of a facelift.

Have you tried strivectin or bliss's "youth as we know it" line?

Also look into oil cleansing and starting a night routine. LipFusion is a good lip plumper thats mild, tooFaced extreme is the best if you can take a little burning. Line your lips though if you tend to feather lipstick colors as they can redden the lips with the plumper.

Do you exfoliate with scrubs or acid? Acids give a better result. Bliss has one to go with that line mentioned. Kiels also makes one.

Interally I would take an EFA supp as long as it is ok to mix with any med you are on. It makes a huge difference in your skin/hair overall.
