Does this happen to anyone else? It happens to me, since high school, 60 years ago.
When the air is very dry, and I do something that warms me up, I feel a mild prickly itchy feeling over my upper body. For example, today it was in the 60s and sunny, but the humidity only 28%, and I walked home from the grocery store and started to get prickly. Or on a cold winter day, if I go into a heated building while wearing outdoor coat, and I get too warm.
It goes away spontaneously after a few minutes, and is never visible on my skin. It seems to be a momentary reaction to my body being warmed in a very dry and coolish environment. It never occurs when there is high humidity.
I've never heard a name for it, nor anyone else ever describe it.
I can't even tell you why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, regardless of the temperature or humidity
That's not something I've ever pondered but often a google search will turn up an answerto those types of questions.
