Some antibiotics reduce the efficacy of BC... You should always use a back-up method for at least a week after you stop taking antibiotics...

Oh yes. He was a couple of weeks early because she has a malformed uterus (which she didn't know until she had her first ultrasound), but he is perfectly healthy and cute. He turned one last month.

My husband's childhood best friend got both of his boys this way. You'd have thought that after the first one she would have smartened up. LOL

Default pregnant on birth control twic

well this happened to me twice, i don't know if that makes me lucky or unlucky. I took tetracycline, i think, 16 and 23 years ago, for uti's and low and behold i ended up pregnant, both children were born healthy, but i do remember the dr telling me about dental staining in my children, i did take alot of antibiotics during both pregnancies, every turned out fine. still married after all this time. funny thing it was the only time i got pregnant, go figure.lol

Well thats good to hear that they are healthy because up until you find out you are pregnant you still take BC.

many many women take bc pills at the beginning of their pregnancy not knowing they are pregnant...it has not been shown to cause any problems for the baby.
