Mine is blue.

News, Genetic mutation makes those brown eyes blue.

Scientists find that blue-eyed individuals have a single, common ancestor

People with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor, according to new research.

A team of scientists has tracked down a genetic mutation that leads to blue eyes. The mutation occurred between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago, so before then, there were no blue eyes.

My daughters are a color no one can identify. When I went to apply for a passport for her, the postmaster didn't know, her pediatrician had never seen anything like them.

I have blue eyes and her Father had brown.

Maybe her eyes are sort of like mine. They are primarily green, but the out ring is blue, middle main ring of green, and closest ring to the pupil, sort of a light brown.

Kinda tri-colored for me, but I usually claim green. BTW: my mother and maternal grandmother had the same eye color pattern. father blue.

I am dying to know about your daughter's eye color.
Is it in the purple family or something?

My eyes are gray-blue.
