Just got over a bout of stomach flu. Once during a particularly strong wretch, it felt like jolts of electricity went out from me, through my chest and all the way down my breasts. YIKES!

Now I have a constant "prickly" sensation in my skin in the chest & breast areas, and when I cough, I get the jolting again. It's like I woke up nerve endings! What did I do? Will it go away?

I once had that happen when I had Pleurisy. A cough sent an electrical type pain right into my nipple. Strangest thing.

The doctor said it couldn't have been related since he claimed the breasts operate on different nerves.

He did a breast exam and ordered mammogram. Everything was normal.

I say the doctor doesn't know all of the nerves that serve the breast or he was a pervert who wanted to give me a breast exam!

Regardless, it went away and never happened again.

If yours doesn't go away, it can't hurt to get a mammogram to make sure everything is okay.

Go to the doctor. It could be an electrolyte imbalance or you could of torn something. Both are very dangerous.

my guss is the muscles in the breast are squeezing some nerve endings, try 2 put clothes soaked in warm water over it and after a couple of minutes try coughing if the pain is less then am right and dont worry it will go away as soon as ur cold is completely off.
