HEY JWO85 the temperature difference is not documented anywhere. even i'm suffering from the same problem. i'm a physician and havent found and problem yet with myself. this difference could be caused by damage to the nerves that control the blood flow to the skin. what damages the nerves ?there are several causes ranging from diabetes to nutritional deficiencies . it could also be due to cervical spondylosis in early stages.

I have this all the time. I think blood from your heart goes to your left side/arm first and circulation is probably better in that side than the right side.

I don't have diabetes, nutritional deficiency or nerve problems either BTW.

Feeling colder or warmer and actually being colder or warmer can be two different things! Seriously!

So measure the temperatures of both hands to see if one is actually colder than the other. (It could be a nerve problem making you think one is colder...)

Another test is to swab alcohol on a finger on one hand - note the cold feeling. And then do so on a finger on the other hand. It is the same amount of "coldness" due to the alcohol evaporating, but can feel different if there are nerve issues.

Cold could be simply a pinched nerve. If it continues then you may have an underlying health issue and should be seen a doctor.

I have similar temperature differences but not related to using right hand for computer mouse. My left hand gets colder than my right. My doctor has kind of shrugged it off but I am in health profession and still searching for reasons.
