Blood Clots, Has anyone had a Greenfield Filter put in a vein?

I think my doctor was always afraid of it going low. My new doctor checks it once a month. The only time I have clots is when I'm off of it for more then three weeks and I had past doctor's take me off of it and the clots would always come back. When a doctor says you don't need blood thinner I change doctors.

I have a greenfield also put in after long time being bedridden had several clots both legs and lungs, I still got a clot in my lungs with a greenfield and on blood thinners.
