That's not true. You could contract HIV in an accident, in a hospital, or while tending to someone who is wounded.

Don't think you wouldn't help someone wounded. When an emergency situation presents, you simply act on human instinct to help. Twice I've had to put myself at risk by helping someone---it's not like I carry latex gloves in my purse. I've been tested and I'm fine, but the point is that the Virgin Mary can catch HIV. You can't tell if someone has HIV.

Furthermore, there are lots of things people can do to avoid cancer. The sun goddess who catches skin cancer is just as irresponsible as someone who catches HIV. Just because tanning is more social acceptable than being a drug addict doesn't mean that the person who didn't avoid the sun's life is more important.

Note that I forgot to mention that cancers tend to strike an older population, although they can kill middle-aged and younger people as well. AIDS mainly affects a younger demographic.

Some cancers can be prevented in certain cases (skin cancer, lung cancer, etc.) but others cannot (brain cancer, etc.). It seems to me that in the West, AIDS can generally be prevented by not sleeping around, not engaging in gay sex, and not doing drugs. True, there are blood transfusions, needle accidents, etc. that can spread HIV to an innocent victim, but they make up are far smaller share than promiscuity or drug injections. HOWEVER, countless children are born HIV-positive in Subsaharan Africa, and many "innocent spouses" contract HIV as the result of their husbands sleeping with prostitutes. Also, I don't know how many people are actually infected this way, but in some tribes think/thought the "cure" for AIDS was sleeping with a virgin.

I'm of the opinion that Cancer and AIDS research should be funded by the government in proportion to how many people are affected by each. For cancer funding, I feel that research funding into individual cancers (lung, pancreas, bone marrow, etc.) should be based, at least somewhat, on how many years of quality life they take away from the sufferer.

Since the use of things like viagra STDs are on the rise for the older gen. Surprise surprise...
The AIDS ban has just been lifted on the US.(22-year-old travel and immigration ban)

HIV Travel Ban Lifted By President Obama

I vote equal funding because they both act like virals and the learning could be complimentary.

Conventional medicine will not open its eyes to cures unless they fall within strict guidelines. They do not care if people are healed or cured if it does not come from a conventional medical doctor. They will not accept or listen to any other concept. And so MILLIONS of people die because the American Medical Association is so stubborn and arrogant that they think that no one else on earth can cure or heal except them. They would not even accept if God did it, unless He had a medical license.

- Overall 5 year survival rates for some cancers: Breast cancer 89%, Lung 16%, Brain 35%, Colorectal 65%, Prostate 100%, Pancreas 6%
- Lung cancer disproportionately affects smokers; other types of cancer (e.g. brain cancer) have an unknown cause

AIDS:

- 1.2m people in the U.S. have AIDS
- No cure
- Average life expectancy after diagnosis about 25 years
- Disproportionately affects gay males and needle users (in the U.S.)

My take on this issue is that over the decades both Cancer and AIDS research has gotten enough of our money. This situation is set up where we keep throwing money at the problem but nothing gets fixed. Just use your common sense, if they fix the problem many people would be out of jobs!

It is for this reason that various medical treatments are systematically suppressed. For example, back in the 80's/90s Baylor University found a way to kill various pathogens and viruses that were in the blood by using an electrical current. They treated the blood outside the body and the current did no harm to the red/white blood cells.

None of them need more funding.
What needs to be done is to take all the synthetic chemicals out of our food.
The powers that be already know how to cure cancer and aids.
The cure, however would bankrupt the Med/Pharma Cartel.

Those garsh darn "powers that be".......I just HATE how they keep doing things like withholding cures.....

At least I don't have to worry about those "powers that be" reading my thoughts, I just bought an extra heavy duty tinfoil hat to block my brainwaves....

  1. Aids (created in a United States Military research facility by genetically splicing the swine “Vishnu” virus with the bovine leukemia virus; provided to the World Health Organization (a United Nations operation) for its inoculation into millions of Africans along with their small-pox vaccine; next it was inoculated to some thousands of black homosexual males along with the hepatitis 'B' vaccine in New York) [known cures are available but most are not sanctioned by the AMA, FEMA or the FDA;
  2. Cancer, the #1 killer in our nation today—more than half of the people that die in the United States today die from cancer (the body’s natural secondary immune system, which isolates the cause any chronic condition the primary immune system can’t resolve). Again, known cures exist, but they are not authorized by the FDA and those that provide such cures like Vitamin B17 are prosecuted and imprisoned. Cancer is on a meteoric rise in the nation as a direct cause of food (and other products) additives, substitutes, pesticides, fertilizers and amendments that agencies of the United States Government authorize for human consumption.
  3. Vaccines—the cause of sudden infant death syndrome and much of the current outbreak of A.D.D. in Americans today.

Yeh...I think about how much time and money healthcare workers put into themselves to get there. I think they should be able to protect the investment. But cancer is also a problem with that type of work. You are around chemicals and radiation etc. Always being exposed to fumes from cleaning. Its another reason I said equal research.

I read the electrical current studies. The virus died but the tissue was also damaged. (if we were reading the same study)
You would have to superheat the whole body to cure it that way. Which would result in brain damage. Its basically like creating an electrical fever.
Fevers naturally lower the amt of germs in your system so your immune system has more of a fighting chance. But if you have aids...you don't have that. It blocks the anti-body makers. So it would not work for aids. It may work for viral related cancers if the brain damage thing would not be an issue.
