unsafe gov't ratings for radiation levels is 1.6 rads... With that said let it be known that blackberry and iphone are the dirty cell phones in use today radiating any where from 1.49 to 1.58... Maybe that explains why your leg twitches as if you had your phone in your pocket when there is nothing there... It's radiation acting on your thigh muscle nerves... Hmmm, i say it's cancerous and god knows what a regular laptop radiates maybe 5.0 rads who knows...

President & CEO
Well, Largent is actually a pretty impressive human and a biologist by training. I'm not exactly disagreeing with your overall conclusion, but I must take exception to the logical phallacy that a football career necessarily indicates intellectual inferiority.

Interesting... I do sometimes get "cell phone ghost" on my left thigh where the cell phone typically rides.

I'm certainly not qualified to say that there is no way a cell phone can cause cancer, but the radiation emitted by, for example, my iPhone is the non-ionizing variety. A weak link between non-ionizing radiation and certain childhood cancers can't be ruled out - but an association between adult cancers and non-ionizing radiation has never been established (and certainly not a causative relationship) in spite of significant (though maybe not exhaustive) amounts of study. In other words, I wouldn't tell anyone to totally blow that off but you're probably at greater risk from elevated cortisol if you worry about it day and night.
