OMG...since having kids, my hands are shot from always being under water and/or using soaps. It's horrible!

I think my hands are pretty sexy, maybe I'm just overly concerned about who they are with?

NO.

If she works that hard buy her a gift certificate to a spa for a manicure/pedicure/massage. If she also has a brain she'll get the message and appreciate your thoughfullness. Perhaps also buy her a pair of deerskin/goatskin work gloves to protect her hands?

My hands aren't rough, but my knuckles are perpetually dry in this weather, and I've had a small amount of callus at the top of my palm almost my whole life. Hands with no calluses are kind of squicky.

If your sweetie's hands are rough and scratchy, give them a little hand massage with some Eucerin. Everybody likes hand massages.

My ex's hands were always sweaty and clammy. Id much prefer rough and callous.

From a woman who has worked hard most of her life, I don't think that is a fair statement. I have had many a callous on my hands from pushing mops and mucking stalls. Cleaning supplies can do a number on your skin as well.
