I was thinking about looking into a low dose hormone pill. What are, if any, side effects you have experienced?
I know you didn't ask me, but I've been taking Yaz for about a year and have been really happy with it. My side effects have been almost ideal and the opposite of what you'd expect (I lost weight, boobs grew a little, lessened my monthly migraines, drastically helped with cramps and my period). As far as sex drive there may have been a slight difference, but we're talking about going from "I need something now" to "it'd be nice, but not necessary", which was actually helpful since I'm single.
Just talk to your doctor/gyno about the options out there. Mine laid out everything available and then gave her recommendations and reasons why. My roommate is on Loestrin Lo and loves it. My mother used Orthotricycline Low and was also happy (though this was for her menopause symptoms). Really the side effects vary from woman-to-woman, so it's hard to tell what will happen until you take it. Learn the side effects (both you and your guy), and keep an eye out for warning signs.
Well, if you have already had one then they may likely do it for you. I know of rare cases in which childless women were able to receive them, because they could not use other methods for whatever health reasons.
Eh, if they're such idiots, I can always go to Planned Parenthood.

Yeah... stuff happens alright... I really can't afford ooopsies right now.
Mmmm...my main concern about any hormonal birth control is weight gain. Since everyone is different, there's really no way to tell. And once you gain anything, it's so hard to lose. I will look into what you guys have mentioned, thanks.

I imagine that if you work out and don't gorge yourself, even if you are one of the unluckies who might gain, you should be able to control it.
If they stick around long enough to know about my attitude, then....
They're really drunk? hehee
