A killer fungus that kills one out of four who contract it is spreading among humans and animals. Originally found in Vancouver in 1999 it has now spread into the U.S. northwest. Symptoms include coughing, heat flashes, fever, breathing problems... Check with CDC website for details.
This is very serious to all mankind...and our animal relatives...aho

Good luck

So far it has killed five out of 21 patients analyzed in the United States, a nearly 25 percent mortality rate.
Deadly airborne fungus in Oregon set to spread - Infectious diseases- msnbc.com

Ok, so the mortality rate out of people known to be infected is high, but so far this thing has only killed five in the U.S. I think I'll wait a bit to panic on this one.

Also, I looked on the CDC website and didn't find anything. Can you post a link to the specific page?

This usually infects immunosuppressed people. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have AIDS, are on immunosuppressants (autoimmune disease or organ transplant recipient).
