To me, this is another one of the free pleasures of life and I was wondering who else takes them. From what I've read, they are very healthy too. I'm 46, male, with a fast moving retail job during the weekdays. If you don't mind stating your age and gender please do. I'm wondering what category of people indulge the most, and, if I fall into that category.
I have a sleeping disorder and the only thing worse than having to wake up once a day, is having to wake up twice a day. LOL

But seriously. I feel terrible when I take naps so I never do. It is much more beneficial for me to sleep until noon, which is my natural sleeping pattern than to goto sleep and have to try to pry myslef out of bed after a nap. If I go to bed in the afternoon, I will usually sleep for 5 or 6 hours or longer. LOL There have been times when I have gone to bed at 5 and slept through until the next morning.

I took an hour nap today! If I had the luxury of being home every day, I'd likely take a short a nap every day. Something to look forward to at retirement, I guess.

When I can, I nap on the weekends, usually after I've cleaned house, done a million loads of laundry, had lunch, and it's coooold, or cool like today. I take 1 - 2 hours sometime b/w 2 and 3. If I take less than an hour, I wake up with a headache, so if I know I'll get less than an hour, I'd force myself to just stay up. I'm female and 53.

I took a nap this afternoon. I take them if I am tired and have the time to do it.
