Default Tips o how to use the Air Condiioner when you have Arthritis?

My AC temps start at 60 and go up to 86. The highest I have gone when I'm sleeping is 69 but I still seem to ache in the morning. IWould it make sense to go to 77 since that will take away COOLING? So I'm thinking maybe I can just start opening y bedroom door at night in stead of closing it? Use the AC by itself without the celing fan?

I currently use the ceiling fan, another fan on low with the door closed because I still want to be somewhat comfortable. I don't want to wake up HOT so just wondering any tips?

Sometimes the fan blowing on you can make it worse. Try not to eat sugars close to bedtime (within 4 hours). That can help. Check out a foam topper too. Has to be 2'' or more. Try 72-74 with a lighter weight blanket and no direct fan.

Did you test positive for arthritis? What type of arthritis do you have? RA, OA, others? What part of your body aches in the morning?

Do you take an anti-inflamatory?

To cold or to much humidity will cause a flare up, I keep the AC adjusted to a temp to remove the humidity from the air only.

Yes I do. So I guess 72-74 is about the right temp so I will try that tonight. I will only 60-69 when I first come in the door from the heat for about 20 mins
