Then there goes that excuse. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. Oh well.

No, we're disagreeing with a blatantly ridiculous claim with no basis in reality. Your youtube link didn't work (at least for me) but the idea of having "credible info" that all doctors are out to get you is so ridiculous it doesn't really matter.

Glad you're done w/the conversation though - frankly it was just as well, as you can only dig yourself a deeper hole.

Apparently this never occurred to you, but how about neither? The body is an EXTREMELY complex thing. There are extremely few if any treatments which work ALL the time and sometimes things can go unexpectedly wrong or people can have a bad reaction which couldn't have been foreseen. Of course sometimes they do make mistakes. Unfortunately, doctors are - believe it or not - human.

heh. It's common knowledge that medicine only exists as an excuse to control and scamp people. An honest doctor is kind of an oxymoronic term.

Whoever said it before was right: some of you need to watch less TV. This is real life, not the "X Files."
It's not X-Files; it's reality.

It may seem foolish, but medicine is not an honest vocation. to say it is is the foolish thing.

You really can't convince the doctor lovers of anything rational. They are usually so pumped up on pharmaceuticals that it impedes their judgment and thinking ability.

Keep on pumpin' folks

180,000 people go into a hospital to be treated for X, and they all died from Y. In each of these cases you admit that all of them died by the drugs or protocols given to them by their hospital.

The approved treatments killed them. You admit to this. And this is not negligence or incompetence?

They were sick, they sought treatment, their illness did not kill them, the treatment they received killed them. But it was not an error, and it was not negligence or incompetence?

If killing 180,000 sick people who were seeking treatment is not an error, what was it?
Glad everything is so black and white in the world you live in...

Lets say an otherwise healthy person develops gout.....they are given a NSAID to reduce the inflammation and decrease the pain. ABSOLUTELY the standard of care for this condition...

What if this same person had no contraindications to this medication, had in fact received it before for similar flare ups.

THIS time the person develops a GI bleed and dies....

Incompetence?? Negligence???

Neither...

Unintended side effect of a medication.

I'm sure you have a crystal ball though and could avoid this complication somehow

Another patient struggles for years with a painful arthritic knee until finally deciding to have a knee replacement...

Surgery goes well, no complications, patient receives coumadin or Lovenox per protocol but still develops a PE and dies...

Negligence?? Incompetence??

Neither...

Unintended complication of a procedure. There are hundreds of other examples.

Iatrogenic does not necessarily equal incompetence or negligence...except in your mind I guess.

Keep on with the bashing folks, its quite amusing...
