Let's first establish the ethnic cleansing part. I know that in the last weeks of WWII the Nazi government made some wild accusations in a propaganda campaign to turn the allies against the Soviets.

Anyway, price has to be paid for losing wars you start. Losing Prussia was NOTHING compared to what German neighbors could have expect had Germany won the war.

Your post was extremely vague so I wasn't sure what "ethnic cleansing" you were talking about. If you are refering to the deportation of ethinic Germans from East Prussia, then this was basically agreed upon by the winning powers at the Potsdam Conference. Doesn't make it right but as I said, it is simply not comparable to the fate that awaited any of the Germany's neighbors had Germany ended up winning. And deportation was not something out of the ordinary. The French deported the Germans from Alsace-Lorraine after WWI. The Germans deported the French from the same region after 1940. The Czechs deported the Germans from Sudetenland after WWII. In the 19th century the US Government basically deported thousands of Native Americans. There are countless examples.

Don't forget also the use of German POW's as slave labor for years afterward. The USSR and France were the worst offenders (being the harshest), though the rest of the Allies used them too. "Eisenhower's Death Camps" weren't really any better than what the Nazis themselves did.

There were all kinds of atrocities after the war that are largely unknown by most people today. And of course, many seem to gloss over the fact that the Soviets invaded Poland with the Germans...

I have read about this subject extensively. Thank you for your suggestions though. I definately love to read history and especially world war 2. I've read most every book on the subject in several libraries and have purchased many more. I own a large collection of books on the subject. Thanks again. You are entitled to your opinion.

You are right I wouldn't last long in north Korea, Communist Russia, communist Cuba, Iran, or nazi Germany. I believe in freedom and I'd be fighting to get out!! I'm a martial artist and a firearms instructor. I believe in freedom and I'm prepared to fight. They'd kill me!
