Watergate was only one of several scandalous aspects of former President Richard Nixon's life, according to a new book by a former White House correspondent.

i didnt like nixon but is it really smear the president week?
why is the sex life of the president so important? more than likely considering the stress and how it ages those who hold the post, i dont think they have much of a sex life. public perception of authority figures is that u can do whatever u want whenever u want.LOL. they own u buddy they own u before u ever sat down.

Very true. It's easy to come up with this stuff years after the person has died, too.

By the end of Watergate people HATED Nixon. The press HATED Nixon. Nixon never hid his friendship with Rebozo. I all this were true it would have been investigated and published while he was still in office.

As far as him beating Pat I don't buy it. She was a very strong, smart woman. She'd have left him. (Another thing that would have been investigated and published while Nixon was in office. Most of the press had a great deal of sympathy for Pat Nixon and liked her. If there had been even a hint of him beating her it could not have been kept secret. Never mind what his two daughters might have done to him. Julie wasn't exactly the shrinking violet type.)

Even if it were true, my interest would still be in what he did when he wasn't in the sack with Bebe.
