Well, this has certainly been an informative thread. Just kinda sad at the tinge of anger finding its way through it.

At least I learned something new and that's what makes one keep going when you're over the 70 mark.

In fact they barely remember this fact.
The legacy of the nineties was worse, much worse in this respect; that's what had the dire consequences as far as the attitude of Russians towards the US goes.

You're over 70? Are you over 75 as well?

I am sorry, but I find it interesting in a good way to have someone your age and with your wisdom on this forum.

I've been on the internet since the early 80s.

It's a way of keeping up with the news, learning something new, and sharing things I find interesting.

It also provides a priceless media for me to conduct research of the various novels I've written and am in the process of writing.

As for wisdom - experience, yes?

Wisdom - that's a matter of discussion.
