Now obviously women back then would not have had all the things women have today. So back in the middle ages what would women do for breast support and their period?

Breast support, not much.

Most women were pregnant or nursing much of their adult lives so those two things somewhat take care of their periods. If not, then rags were used.

They had "bras" of some sort back then I'm sure. And for the other thing, they went "on the rag".

A chemise and well-fitted bodice do just fine in the breast department. Some bodices just mash you flat. Others will push everything upwards, and the chemise (underdress) provides shape and coverage at the top.

I saw a picture of one of my ancestor's. His neck had a pretty severe kink in it, and I was told someone hit him with something that messed up his neck. Now I'm wondering if it was just whiplash.

In ancient China, rags were used for both purposes (separate rags, of course).
