What museum in the world has the best collection of Roman Empire objects?

I have no idea, but the Metropolitan in NY has the Temple of Dendur.

Also what one is the best for Greek Empire objects?

For Egyptian, it may be the Cairo Museum, but the Brooklyn Museum has a good branch for it.

Oops I just found these lists:

Those are great lists, even sorted by number of objects!

British Museum has an excellent collection of ancient Egypt, Greece, and Roman artifacts.

However, you have to realize most of this is pilfered art obtained (i.e. - stolen) back from the days of the British Empire. Then again you can argue they saved the art from mindless destruction. Nevertheless there is a controversy.

The Cairo museam, which I have been fortunate to visit, has of course an amazing collection of ancient Egyptian art. Athens has a good museam as well.

Strange, I don't remember many notable museam's in Rome itself, all of it more focused on open air exhibits like the Colosseam, and the museums in Florence focusing on renaissance art. Most of Ancient Rome art seemed to copy Greek art styles anyways.

For Chinese artifacts, The National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan is tops.

There is an excellent one in Shanghai as well, in Peoples Square, which I was also fortunate to visit.
