JFK's inaugural speech was pretty good, as well as the ones already noted.
Good post. I was going to mention JFK's inaugural. It's not in the top 5 best speeches of all time, but it was a brilliantly written and delivered inspirational speech.
Let us not forget King George's speech to rally England to war against Germany, made more impressive at having to overcome his stuttering to make the most important speech of his life.
Although born of fiction, Al Pacino's speech at the end of Scent of a Woman makes you want to stand up and cheer. If you haven't seen this movie, I strongly urge you to do so.
