Good post. I was going to mention JFK's inaugural. It's not in the top 5 best speeches of all time, but it was a brilliantly written and delivered inspirational speech.

Although born of fiction, Al Pacino's speech at the end of Scent of a Woman makes you want to stand up and cheer. If you haven't seen this movie, I strongly urge you to do so.
