There were no CIA agents walking behind the limo. There were several Secret Service agents riding in the car immediately behind JFK's limo. The theory about him being shot from the SS car was debunked decades ago. (Read Mortal Error if you want to wade thru a few hundred pages about that theory.)
Yep. This is not a realistic option, but similar to when MLK and RFK was shot-number of shots and where they came from highly disputed.
These groups were 1) The CIA with the approval of some of the highest government officials (like Johnson, Hoover, Ford and Nixon) 2) The anti Castro Cuban exiles 3) Mafiabosses Sam Giancana , Carlos Marcello and Santos Trafficante and 4) wealthy industrialists and Texan oilmen like H.L. Hunt, Syd Richardson and Clint Murchison.

We'll never really know for sure because so much information was held back, people who knew were killed, so much covered up. We may think this country is corrupt now; it's been corrupt for a long time.
There was more than one shooter and I'll always be convinced LBJ had something to do with it.
LJB apparently knew about it and mentioned it to his mistress. I think that's even in the link I posted a while back--and there's a LOT more in that link about what happened and who was involved.
I wonder how many shooters there were. Oswald was set up, whether he really shot a gun or not--he wasn't lying when he said, "I am a patsy." It is said that he worked for either the CIA or the FBI (can't remember right now) but whoever it was, they just used him. Then they had to kill him to shut him up.
America couldn't handle the fact that a far-left assassin took out out JFK, because America had been a liberal country for over 30 years and Kennedy was a liberal himself. They would have believed that some John Bircher did it, but not a leftie. America had never fully wrapped it's head around the whole "Communist/radical leftist" thing so it just couldn't accept reality: Oswald did it. Many Americans HAD to believe some alternate explanation.
By the way, I highly recommend "Jack Ruby" by Garry Wills as one of the many brilliant works which expose the basic facts of the assassination.
