This board is predominantly far-right bigoted filth (hence the black English thread) yet a conspiracy is too radical for some? The same people that listen to Sean Hannity and Alex Jones? Comical.

The JFK conspiracy theory faction is now an industry - books, movies, websites and blogs, youtube channels. The internet has transformed it so that the same theories, most of which have been disproved in the past and are incorrect, get repeated again and again and again and taken as factual.
As I said in post #13 - human nature is to give greater importance and meaning to a senseless act of violence done by one man...hence the conspiracy theories in all it's complex and convoluted logic lives on.

No, the stuff I read on here is disgusting. Bigoted, racist, xenophobic, sexist. This election cycle and Trump has brought out of the worst of society, they are crawling out of the woodworks.

The CIA. He was shot from the sewer opening in the road. There's no way LHO shot him from that distance at that angle.

For those who say that everyone who believes otherwise is in love with conspiracies, it would be far easier for people to just believe that LHO did it all by himself.

Over and done with. No worries. All is well. No corruption in the USA.

I don't usually believe in conspiracies and on that day, I believed what the radio and tv said. But pretty soon, there was so much evidence to the contrary that people started to wonder. And the Warren Commission report was a bad joke that only made things worse. I'd love to be able to believe the simple story they told us. Closure and peace of mind. Easy to just swallow the cool aid.

Oh my God I've been to the "Oswald perch" at the Texas School Depository. You can throw spitballs and hit JFK at that distance and angle.

Thank you for that interesting article. Probably she did think LBJ had him killed--it's easy to see why LBJ would want him gone. That doesn't prove that he did it but it's interesting that she thought it was a conspiracy even back then.

Most books I've read imply that LBJ at least knew about it.

A few years ago one of the Kennedys came out with a statement about who did it--I think it's in that thread from three years ago. It sounded from that statement that he was saying it was a conspiracy and they either know or have a pretty good idea of who was behind it.

This revelation by Caroline of what her mother believed seems to indicate that the family is getting braver about telling what they know. They're hinting at it in an indirect way, by releasing tapes by her mother. Probably they fear that if they came right out and said it, they'd end up dead too.
