Another similar disaster was the Victoria Hall Disaster (Sunderland) of 1883 when 183 Children were crushed to death.

Here is another little know disaster- 200(+) killed in a night club fire in Natchez, Mississippi in 1940.

No arson, just the standard night club fire disaster (poorly constructed building jammed to over capacity, side doors chained to prevent people sneaking in w/o cover charge, one small entrance and exit.... )
