Where is the world's longest fjord located?
----------------------

I strongly suspect that this is a meaningless question, because "fjord" had no absolute definitin that would allow one as being the largest, and legitimately disallow something that could be claimed to be larger. Like asking "What is the largest peninsula". When does something become so large it is no longer a peninsula? One published Geography trivia game answereed this question with "Arabia". However, Western Europe is larger than Arabia, and in fact the isthmus is narrower, from Danzig to
Trieste, than from Aqaba to Kuwait.

Is Alaska's Cook Inlet a fjord? Why not? What about Lake Melville, in Labrador? The Gulf of Corinth, in Greece?

Lake Superior , Great Bear Lake , Great Slave Lake , Lake Huron.... Just a guess , the only one I have not seen or sailed on , is Great Bear.

Here's one that has quite a few answers. Make a list of the pairs of adjacent counties with the same name, but in different states. Like Big Horn, in both Wyoming and Montana, that border on each olher. Submissions will, when done, inclunde 9 pairs, but disputes could reduce the list to seven.

I will never forget the first time I stood on the shore of Great Slave Lake , looking out to sea, like a ocean, a vast body of water in a remote land , with the northern lights dancing in the sky. Then that summer night I parked my motorhome on the beach, and watched for sunset....it never came....then it was morning , time to move on , tired and a bit hungover. I will go back one day , I must , I need to see it one more time....
