Thought those commenting on this thread would be interested in this megalithic find, (if you had not read about it before) of which portions have been dated as old as 20,000 BC in Indonesia. It is older than those at Gobeki Teppli and is called Gunung Padang. The visible stones are just the top of a gigantic stone building that continues far beneath the surface.

In 2014 excavation and research were halted. Scientists have campaigned to prevent excavation of a hidden chamber identified by ground penetrating radar. Sound familiar to those Egyptologists under the guise of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) who have repeatedly denied access to chamber (confirmed by ground penetrating radar) under the Sphinx?
What is it that those in power are hiding and think people today cannot handle?
Something else to cogitate about when questions such as the OP, who want to know what knowledge or technological advancement has been passed down. You might also add, - Only that which the "Court Historians" allow".
