Interesting. To have survived through the war as an SS officer and then have such a long life in the post war years. Beyond that nothing much to merit any respect or admiration. Part of the power hierarchy that destroyed so many innocent lives and reduced European countries to ashes and rubble.

So... possibly one of the very last people to have met Hitler, especially late in the war?

So he is not THE von Ribbentrop? Of what historical significance is he other than being the son of somebody? Let's look for the grandson of von Meinstein.

I think you mean the Soviets who killed 100 million people in their 70 year reign and enslaved half of Europe for 50 years? The people responsible for the expansion of communist China, Korea, Vietnam, the afghanistan issue and what it led to to, the destabilization of the Middle East with the expulsion of Palestinians from their lands, Cuba, all the left wing governments in South America and then the right wing military dictatorships that popped up to curtail them. I can go on and on. Too often history taught in schools ignores the destruction that the Soviets unleashed on the world (20 million killed in the holomodor in the Ukraine).

You seem to be deflecting to other events around the world. Not clear regarding your intent. Are you an apologist for the Nazi atrocities in Europe?

We can conclude from this that probably THE von Ribbentrop would have lived for a long time as well if he had not been executed as a Nazi criminal. Longevity is inherent.
