James L. Swanson wrote a book called Manhunt, which is about the search for John Wilkes Booth and the other accomplices. I thought it was a great book......and it is written like a novel....so it really comes alive...you feel like you are there at times. He says he stays true to the history, but it seems like he might need to make some of the details up a little bit anyways.
It has 4.6 out of 5 stars on Amazon and I really enjoyed it from start to finish.
Has anyone else read it and have any historical insights?
