For me, the real 2010s feel didn't start kicking in until 2015

2014 still had a bit of a late 2000s undertone.

Even though 2010 to 2014 all had a bit of a late 2000s undertone, I gotta say this is the first decade to have a quite progressively fast memo transition. So really the 2010s feel didn't taken much time to really kick in. Remember that by late 2012 Twitter and Instagram have been hitting the nails of social media.

But yeah 2015 was when many of the talking hits today became more mainstream. Self driving cars, virtual reality, bitcoin, automation and so forth

What about you guys? Which years define the decade the most in your opinion?

All the regulars here know that we do not do "Decades" threads, and anybody with any sense knows not to mention politics here in the History forum.

Why didn't anybody report this thread?
