Seems more like a click bait site to buy a personalized coffee mug.
Pretty much. The "histories" are questionable at best and they are selling fake coats of arms/family crests. It gives a long "history" of my maiden name and calls it a "distinguished" name when in reality, my name means farmer/commoner, which they never mention. I can't say the histories are wrong, but they include a lot of details that really have nothing to do with the name itself (a whole paragraph dedicated to the history of early Austria and later one on Austrian emigration) and they are definitely spinning it to make it sound more illustrious than it ever was (without including any details - all very vague) so I'll be more likely to buy their products with my name on them.
Then it lists a bunch of people with my surname who have zero relation to me, obviously trying to play on the fact that many people seem to wrongly believe that everyone with the same surname is somehow related.
Their products also include coats of arms/family crests for every name, again playing on the fact that so many people wrongly believe that there is a cost of arms for every name and everyone with that surname is entitled to use it when there is one.

My last name is of Ashkenazi Jewish origin (my family is not Jewish, though) and that write up doesn't mention that at all. Nor would German Jews have a coat of arms.
Someone in our extended family actually wrote a book about our history. Seems our ancestors were Huguenots living in Normandy and left France because of persecution. They wound up in the Channel Islands and England. Some immigrated to North America prior to the revolution.

Yeah. It talked about Bologna Italy on the page for my maiden name, and actually said, 'Bologna, naturally being famous for its sausages...' Um....no.
