I just watched a preview of a Showtime miniseries about three First Ladies. In the preview Betty Ford rips Gerald Ford for pardoning that crazy SOB.

It was the right thing to do. The country had spent too much time already on Watergate. It was a very traumatic time. As a nation, we needed to move forward.
