You are correct! (I was going post some obscure fire apparatus builders..but that woudl be to cruel!)

I was born and grew up in the northern plains, the son of a railroad man, and turned to art very early in my life. By my early-teens, I was working with major artists. I was commissioned to do a number of famous people, but two of my other works, on the same theme, are perhaps the most well-known and familiar images in America relating to that subject using that medium.
