it was just a matter of time before the Allies won against the Axis. The US just sped up the process. The Italians figured it out very late, but figured it out. Germany, was going to keep on fighting until they couldent. Without Hitler's assasination, we would have had to fight many more bodies. With out any of the pro war generals and fuehrer, they just weren't forced to fight any more. That's what was going on in some areas.
