Ouch!

Who said, "It's good to be the king!"?
That was Edward II. Way before the Tudors.

Richard II was also supposed to have been killed that way-but it's probably untrue.

It's often staged that way in the Shakespeare play.

As for it being a way to cure venereal disease-well, as it's fatal, it does cure the gleet-and rectal itching, too, but I doubt it was ever a viable treatment.

The hot iron up the bung 'ole was a good way to kill political prisoners, no marks and no bleeding-this was long before autopsy was practiced.

Hard times!

Then there was Vlad the Impaler but I don't think he was related to
Richard or the Tudors.

Vlad Dracula is related to everybody, by blood.

Richard II may have been starved to death.

Or just up and died, we'll probably never really know.

And we've forgoten the Tudors arch foes, the Fordoors.

French family, from Sedan.

Perhaps the most famous member of the clan was Quasimoto, the Hatchback of Notre Dame.

Seeking glory, he wielded the Dodge Dart and the Olds Cutlass, hurled AMC Javelins and sought a transmission of power.

His hopes were punctured at the battle of Cloverleaf.

Do you mean Vlad is related to everyone by Trans(ylvania)fusion or
by geneology ?

Maybe Henry III was a Prince of Darkness rather than the true King
