Default Mysterious Photographs - any help figuring these out?

Hey guys I created a new site where people can upload "mystery" photos and try to have a global audience solve the mystery by adding clues or solving the photo all together.

The site is: Discover clues about your old photos

Some people have already begun to upload photos. Do you think this site has potential? Is it a good idea? Would you participate and be a member of the site if it had more daily submissions? Right now the site is brand new. I'd love to hear your feedback! Anyways, there's a photo someone uploaded that has polish on it. Anyone know what it says in English? Right now our target audience is historical/vintage photos.

I love this idea. I just signed up and made a comment (actually I solved it) about military helicopter pic from 1950.

Great idea. Wish I would have though of it.

Pretty neat site. I hope it works out for you.

I may have some stuff to share on it later after I have a chance to sit down and look through some of my old photos.

Thank you guys. I'm having a little issue with the usability, but working on it. I'm hoping to develop categories later and assigning moderators to various historical sections (e.g. ww2, civilwar, automobiles, etc). One step at a time...

You rock, my friend. I think it has now been marked as solved. Did you get an email notice about that?

Still testing things out...

Cool. I got the e-mail that it was solved. Again, this is such a great idea.

The bottom of the Polish gives an address. I don't know Polish, but my grandparents were Polish. I think it's listing the names of the people at the girl's First Holy Communion.

Great idea! When the topic said "mysterious photographs" I thought it was like a "ghost" website and almost didn't click it. I may have some photos to upload once I get them from my mom.
