Seems like beheadings were the norm back then as wasn't it Charlemagne who beheaded 4500 Saxons in 782 A.D. who had refused to convert to christianity.
Wow! What a find. Don't feel sorry for any of them; they dedicated there lives to invading other peoples territory along with stealing and
brutality killing along the way. They got what they deserve.
To give credit, they were very good seamen and they probably made it to the Americas long before Christopher Columbus.
Morphous01, I don't guess you'd feel sorry for anyone's ancestors as that's pretty much what every people on the face of the earth has done at one time or another.
