Speaking of FDR, someone should start a thread on overrated Presidents.

Nothing... but I'd be willing to bet a lot of people on here are diehard FDR fans and they would argue with me about him for hundreds upon hundreds of pages.

You are right. He even beats Lincoln on my list (although narrowly).

I don't understand why you would be a fan of either of these two men. Both of them did blatantly unconstitutional things. Lincoln arrested Congressmen who voted against his bills in Congress, and FDR raped the Constitution with his 4 separate terms as President. He also did the following:
1.) Threatened to "pack" the Supreme Court; highly unconstitutional.
2.) Set up price and wage controls; unconstitutional.
3.) Had intricate organized crime connections; not unconstitutional, just makes you look bad.
4.) Organized things like the National Recovery Administration, which physically attacked Americans (mostly shopowners) who didn't go along with the New Deal reforms.

That did not violate the coonstitution. The 22nd Amendment was not passed until 1951, almost 6 years after FDR died.

Yeah, I know that part of his Presidency didn't, but he violated the two-term precedent, essentially making him President for Life (you ever wonder why they passed that Amendment?).
