Anyone familiar with Mayan mathematics? It seemed to have been fairly advanced for its time.

And if they are all right, I only have three years to get all my unfinished quilt projects done!

I kinda got interested in the Mayans and Aztecs after seeing documentries on their civilizations and engineering. It touched on how the Mayan's use of math was more advanced than that of Europe at that time and how they discovered the use of zero before others did. The Hindus discovered zero about 300 years after the Mayans then Europeans learned it from them. I think many would be surprised to learn that the Mayans and Aztecs were as advanced with math and engineering like they were.

Yeah I've been reading up on them some. I like reading about how different ancient peoples used math. It kinda makes math more interesting to me.
