A little trolling notwithstanding, some great replies here. I'll exclude loved ones since 4 who have passed would be my easy choice. That aside, and assuming I have to choose exactly 4, my choices off the top:

Jesus
Lincoln
Einstein
Muhammed

Harpo: honk, honk!
Beethoven: "What!?"
Marlie: "He said..let's screw!"
Harpo: honk, honk!
Beethoven: "WHAT!?"
Helen: "What!?"

This probably won't go over too well, however:

1. Adolph Hitler
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Leonnidas
4. Cornwalis

I'd invite my grandfather and great grandfather from my father's side and my grandmother and grandfather from my mother's side.

To me, people in my family are far more relevant and interesting than any famous person.

If I could only pick famous people, I'd pick

1) John Kennedy
2) Paul Newman
3) Gregory Peck
4) Frederick Douglass

I've been to family reunions. Trust me---they're deadly.
