Postcards. From anywhere. And I want them mailed to me with the cancelled stamps on them. I've been given postcards that they bought and gave me, but it isn't the same.

Dress clips. It's a type of jewelry that has never revived. They are springed clips in various styles and designs that were used from the 20's through the 40's, and they were attached to lapels on dresses, hats, even purses. The early ones were mostly in Art Deco designs with rhinestones, some in bakelite. And I do wear them, mostly on my berets. I bought most of them from EBay.

I stopped collecting: Elephants. My curio cabinet is SO full; Art Deco collectibles for my side-board (same reasons); Perfumes (I now stick to buying my favorite ones); Wall masks (although I may buy one Italian mask in New Orleans).

Books! Mostly comics and dictionaries, but as I'm moving again I'm really trying to cut down my book collection a bit. I've also started collecting foreign currency and unique coins. And I suppose you could call my brightly/oddly patterned underwear and sock drawers collections. I also have a smallish collection of postcards and pins/buttons.

I collect books on various subjects, local organizational or church cookbooks, elephants, Frankoma pottery. I used to collect a lot more things like Fiesta, vintage aluminum kitchenware, barware, handmade copper things, buddahs, cookie cutters, old fishtank figurines, hay hooks, yardsticks, old school things like books, slates, old crayons, etc., and lots of other stuff but I got tired of dealing with it all, it became more of a chore so I sold most of it.

He'd spin it whenever he sat at his desk, and the rest is history!
I make the throw spinning tops...on a wood lathe.
