Dress clips. It's a type of jewelry that has never revived. They are springed clips in various styles and designs that were used from the 20's through the 40's, and they were attached to lapels on dresses, hats, even purses. The early ones were mostly in Art Deco designs with rhinestones, some in bakelite. And I do wear them, mostly on my berets. I bought most of them from EBay.
I stopped collecting: Elephants. My curio cabinet is SO full; Art Deco collectibles for my side-board (same reasons); Perfumes (I now stick to buying my favorite ones); Wall masks (although I may buy one Italian mask in New Orleans).

Vintage dress clips are great. I also use them on clothes, purses etc. but the best use yet is to make a necklace out of it. Just place it on a neck band collar. For dressy occasions use a sterling collar. For sure no one will have what you are wearing!!

Feel free to laugh if you like...
I collected Cabbage Patch kids. I had over 150 at my peak, sold most of them, I think I have about 20 left.
I re-rooted their hair, restored them (yes, the toy ones from the 80's craze), and resold them.
How many of you knew that the ones people were ga-ga over in the 80's were only a toy replica of the "still today" hand sewn original soft cabbage patch kids? I know right, who cares Kat!
I just thought it was interesting b/c when I started my collection, I didn't know they were toy replicas of these huge dolls hand sewn at baby land general hospital.
(I'm in my 30's and didn't have access to these cute dolls as a kid, so when my bio clock began ringing, this was how I fed that need to knit something and quick!)
