Question Anybody here collect sports memorabilia?

Does anybody here collect sports memorabilia? How would I be able to figure out what the value is on something that's one of a kind? For example I own the one & only existeing Jersey that the UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture wore & owned while taping a show called the ultimate fighter seaon 1. For UFC fans it has value because many people worldwide asked me to sell it to them, the few sports memorbillia sports shops that i let take a look at it immediately offereed me money, yet they really didn't answer my question. I basically need to know what value it has , so when i auction it i have an idea of where to start the auction price.

Besides Randy Couture signing it I have the entire fighting cast of the UFC TV series signature on that Jersey as well.

Its only worth what one is willing to pay for it when I auction any sports stuff be it auto'ed photos, cards etc. I always start at .99 and let it ride. on eBay of course.

I collect Chicago Blackhawks stuff. Here is a pic I took early this year, Ive since added a vintage jersey, a Patrick Lalime and Duncan Keith autographed pucks, and two more t-shirts.

I used to ask everyone I met for autographs when I was a teen, but haven't since then. Have seven '80s era baseball HOFers squeezed on one baseball amongst many players (I DO count Pete Rose as in that calibur, anyway :>)
Have many programs which I kept score in, just about all have somebody's autograph on them.

Wow, Steve-o.
Had the privlege of being at a North Shore benefit in the name and memory of Keith Magnuson last year, and all the players (past and present from all Chicago sports, but mainly Blackhawks) were just so classy and wonderful. His lovely wife is the most gracious! RIP, Mr. Magnuson.

The only thing I have that can really be considered memorabilia is a football that was given to my grandmother.

It's a football signed by all of the players and all of the coaches of the '72 dolphins. The ONLY undefeated Superbowl champ. Insurance on the 'ole thing is like $20/month

I do have a baseball signed by Stan Musial of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Have also bought cards, jerseys, sweatshirts for my sons and grandsons of various hockey teams that they like. Would love to find something from the defunct St. Louis Eagles Hockey team from the 1934-35 season.

I only wish I bought the Wayne Gretzky signed helmet from 1991. I never saw it again.

I have a handful of 'rookie' sports cards signed when I attended games.

I have a signed LPGA poster of all of the players from 2 years ago (auction from my daughter's school).

I have a signed Masters flag including Mike Weir's signature when he won the Masters.

I would like to collect things not typically signed like hockey sticks, jerseys, golf bags but there are other priorities in my life to do so.

I don't have much. Have a 7 plaid by Gary Mayhan. Have a macaroon by Gary. Set of spurs that Gary and I welded together. Still use them today and I'm 53 years old. They're still holding.
