Hello everyone. My name is Erica and I am new to these forums. I have an idea that I'd like to share with you all and get your feedback if possible. I've heard about many sites that offer Letters from Santa for kids, but a lot of them cost way too much. I was thinking of doing something similar but for much less. Also, a majority of the money made through this seasonal website would be donated to charities and organizations of your choosing.

So what do you think?

*Sorry for the typo in the title :-/

I actually used to do this myself.
I started by doing it for my own kids on my computer, using fancy font and cute pictures...then printing out the letters.
The kids loved them.

Default Awesome!

How well did it turn out for you? I'm really excited about doing this for the kids this year.

It kept me busy...I didn't do a website...I'm a member of several online Mom forums, and I got my orders through those sites.

I send my kids homemade letters, I buy holiday stationary at the craft store and use "fancy" lettering, they love it. I would never pay for a letter when I can make it myself.

One year quite a while ago, I arranged for a young cousin to receive a telephone call from Santa. He was enthralled, being a true believer, and his parents appreciated it as well. There was no charge, and calls could be placed anywhere in the country. Privacy wasn't a concern back then, though I just submitted my young cousin's age and first name (with his parents' permission and full knowledge, so they'd be sure to be home when Santa rang). I have no idea if phone calls from Santa are still being made or not, but it might be worth investigating as an alternate idea.
