While I do admit to not having played in quite some time, I love playing pool, in the comfort of my or someone else's home. Playing at bowling alleys, bars, etc are just full of sharks, punks who play next to you who don't respect the game or your personal space, and invariably start rolling balls into pockets or sword fighting with the cues. No thanks.
One of the first things I intend to get when I finally purchase a home is a pool table.
That game of 101 sounds very similar to straight pool, were you can shoot at any ball on the table, but you have to call every shot, even from the break. Each ball is worth 1 point, you set a score in mind like first one to 25 or 50 or whatever.
I love to shoot pool; so does my best friend.
After playing several games of straight pool to say 50 points, 9 ball or 8 ball is much easier.
I have a table and love to play 8 ball and 9 ball.
